Choir

The Hallelujah Choir performance took place in the RDS on 26th November, 2007. Congratulations to all involved!

Green Schools Committee

In 2006 Balscadden NS was awarded a Green Flag for their efforts in  reducing waste. In January 2008 the first Green Flag was renewed, and the school were also awarded a second Green Flag for their efforts in reducing energy usage in the school. Well done to Ms McGonigle and all the children in helping realise this achievement. As part of the energy drive the school hosted an Energy Day. Here are some photos from the day.

Gaelic Games

The school is represented in the Fingal Schools League by a senior boys and a senior girls team.

Both the boys and girls reached the finals this year. However, after battling bravely in their respective finals both teams left with silver. Many thanks to all those who trained so diligently throughout the year.
