Choir

The school choir took part in the Hallelujah Choir performance  in the RDS again this year!

Green Schools Committee

In 2006 Balscadden NS was awarded a Green Flag for their efforts in  reducing waste. In January 2008 the first Green Flag was renewed, and the school were also awarded a second Green Flag for their efforts in reducing energy usage in the school. Well done to Ms McGonigle and all the children in helping realise this achievement. We are currently working towards earning the next green flag for water!

Gaelic Games

The school is represented in the Fingal Schools League by a senior boys and a senior girls team. Training for the teams resumed in January, Tuesdays 3-4pm for the boys and Wednesdays 3-4pm for the girls.
